first blogging milestone

Everybody knows that when your remote little blog gets a whopping 100 hits in a single week, you check your statistics. Upon looking at my referrals, I traced the sudden influx of readers to globalvoices and this blog who’d linked me thus:

5) Drama: Mahreen shares some pictures of the Rabindranath Tagore play "Tasher Desh" in which she performed recently.

Wow, isn’t it cool? Had I known, I would have linked The Daily Star’s version of the musical and posted more pictures. But as you might have read on a previous sequel, apart from the ones on this blog, they were casualties in a seasonal wipe-out.

Oh wait I forgot to reward myself.

In other news, I’m like TOTALLY addicted to http://www.sitemeter.com/! While most of the hits were from those two aforementioned blogs, it was interesting to note that some people have stumbled upon Chapter Zero by typing “everyday jargon”, “beyond solitude”, “tasher desh rabindranath tagore”, “kill teletubby” and “basic knowledge cefp2” into Google. In case you’re a blogger and in case you don’t have a sitemeter, you’re missing out.
